Think and Feel

We have chosen this poem for your enjoyment:

Their children scream and scream
No joy only fear
They know that they're so dear
but their end can be near
if the government keeps sitting on the chair
The situation will be more unfair
Their enemies are poverty, ignorance and people
If one could stand and help
a lot will follow but where's that one?
The big sin we make
isn't not being able to help
because help can be with a smile
and it won't cost a thing
but the sin is pretending to be deaf or blind
God gave us all ears and eyes
so we can hear and see what's there
but some people are too lazy to use them
so will people think
and use what God blessed them with?
When you see a person cry
you feel like crying too
but if you see a child cry
Will you cry or will you try?
Will you lift them up and help?
It's a smile, a word will make them better
so if you want the better just
let your heart think a little
and let your brain feel a little too
